Micky Dymond won the American Motorcycle Association 125cc motocross championship twice in the mid ’80s, before heading to Europe to race in Grands Prix. Twenty years after his first AMA title, he won the AMA Unlimited Supermoto Championship. That has to be some kind of longevity record. In between, he was one of the first professional freestylers, and recently led the BMW factory assault on the Pikes Peak Hillclimb, coming within a hair’s breadth of setting the outright course record.
